Adding Tasks in User Stories

  1. Visit the Backlog section using the following navigation menu: “Project Hub -> Backlog”. KTern displays the list of user stories part of the project. Click on (+) in the header to add tasks in user stories

  2. Click on “Clone and Create” to add tasks in the user stories

  3. Select the type to be “User Story” and the user stories to which the tasks to be added

  4. Based on the template chosen, KTern automatically formulates the tasks. User can also manually create / update the tasks and add to the user stories.

  5. If the tasks to be created and the user stories are to be linked to the process items, then choose the process items in the right section

  6. Based on the template chosen, KTern automatically formulates the tasks. Users can also manually update the tasks.

  7. Enter the other relevant details and click on “Submit” to add the tasks as part of the selected user stories
